The Patriot Festival

Join the fun Memorial Day weekend in a salute to military heroes. Event includes live music, food, children’s fun area, military vehicles, fire trucks and special military maneuvers throughout the day. Representatives from all branches of the military, humvees, Special Operations Forces and Honor Guard will be present. The festival will begin with the honoring of seven Congressional Medal of Honor recipients presented by U.S. Representative Sue Myrick.
At 6 p.m., Mayor Pat McCrory will give a tribute to our fallen soldiers from the Carolinas.
