MFA Alumni Reading

The Queens MFA in Creative Writing Program presents a reading by alums Mary Akers, Jessica Handler and Tom Lombardo. Akers wrote short story collection “Women Up on Blocks.” Handler's memoir “Invisible Sisters” portrays the emotional toll that two daughters’ illnesses take on a family living in Atlanta. Lombardo is the editor of “After Shocks: The Poetry of Recovery for Life-Shattering Events.” Event in Sykes Auditorium.
