This USED to be a great event...not sure what's up with the new lame venue & outrageous ticket price.

Only a few years ago (2004 to be exact) this party cost $25 per person and it was held at CenterStage in NoDa. Now the price is $60 and it's at a freakin' HOLIDAY INN.
Non-profits need to recognize that one in six Americans is un/under-employed and they're not gonna blow $120 a couple for a party at a Holiday Inn.
