Mai Japanese Restaurant

He renamed it to Mai because Yotto at Ayrsley got a bad rep after being shut down by the health department, then receiving less than stellar sanitation grades which is not good for a sushi place. I saw the ads for Mai being a "new" place at Ayrsley so I went to check it out. While the sgn on the outside may say "Mai", the papers and menus they had all over the door still said "Yotto" two monthers after the name change. I walked into the vestibule, noticed a very foul order like rotting fish and the same inspection grade and date on the card from when it "was" Yotto (90). Sushi places need to be held to a higher standard.

In fairness, the Yotto/Mai reviewed here on Colony has always received very good sanitation grades but I have not eaten there.
