On June 30, 2012, the Harvey B. Gantt Center will become home to the award-winning exhibition, America I AM: The African American Imprint.

Conceived and presented by broadcaster Tavis Smiley, this exciting exhibit celebrates nearly 500 years of African American contributions to the United States and will bring Americans of all ages and backgrounds together to explore and appreciate our shared culture and history.
