Jamie Cannon, Appalachian Trail Thru Hiker to Speak to Sierra Club

Jamie Cannon, author of "In Walking Distance" and Appalachian Trail thru hiker, will speak at the June meeting of Sierra Club. Cannon set off on the trail with little planning, poor equipment choices and no experience. He will share how he learned to cope and eventually prevail while on his trek. The meeting is free and open to the public. You do not have to be a member of Sierra Club to attend. The evening starts with refreshments at 6:30 p.m. and the program is at 7 p.m.
