The Harvey B. Gantt Center presents, Neal Jones' "The Evolution of Black Gospel Music" a gospel musical stage play July 20, 21, 22nd at the Blumenthal Booth Playhouse. Starring Grammy/Dove nominated & Stellar award winning family band, Forever Jones (He Wants It All). Experience this one-of-a-kind and vibrant walk through Gospel Music history woven together by compelling stories brought to life through music, dance, drama, song and media. An amazing show-educational, informative, and inspirational.… Show more "Experience the Music, witness the power, and celebrate the Spirit!" Also featuring Tunisha Crispell, Matina Smalls, Kim Nawlins, Chris Spence, Ashley Simmons, Kevin Jones, Talibah Petway, Sherika Streeter and other great local Charlotte artists. LaTanya Johnson & Tiffany Mills choreography. Music by Reggie Graves and the band. VIP seats include goodie bag, backstage pass to meet the cast and light refreshments.Tickets for children 18 & under are free for the Friday, 11am performance. Please call 704-372-1000 for these tickets. The Friday, July 20th performance at 11am is an abbreviated show.
