Robert F. Kennedy photo exhibit

In conjunction with the Echo Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to promoting justice and fighting
indifference, The Charlotte Observer will have a display of Robert F. Kennedy photos by photojournalist Bill Eppridge. Eppridge’s career was primarily with "Life" and "Sports Illustrated." Probably his most famous photo was the one taken of Kennedy in the moments immediately following his shooting with the
Ambassador Hotel busboy kneeling beside him.

convention week and will be in place through mid-
October. There will also be winning photos on
display from ECHO’s student competition. Students
from 40 countries have entered their work in response
to ECHO’s challenge, “What does democracy or
tyranny look like?”
Democratic National Convention delegates and the general public are invited to visit the exhibit.
