Mecklenburg Audubon February Meeting

Listen to the birdies sing! Dr. Jeffrey Thomas, assistant Professor of Biology at Queens University will speak about his extensive research in the evolution of vocal complexity in North American songbirds. He will join us at our February meeting to discuss the role of singing in the breeding life of birds. His presentation will enlighten us on how different kinds of sounds are used by male birds to regulate the activities of the breeding season.
