I disagree, I have gone every year..You can sign up for the tasting,,and you can taste 40+ BBQ's...awesome event,,never thought I would get tired of BBQ..worth the price of admittance (Free)...

I have been to this event twice. It IS a competition event. You will be hard-pressed to find any BBQ to eat. Food is only available from some vendors, not from the contestants. With the exception of the Blues, not a very good event.
