standard menu item subbed for lessere meat cut

I went last night under a reservation for 8 people to City Tavern at Southpark. The atmosphere was lovely, casually refined and pleasantly full, but not overcrowded. we were taken promptly and greeted courteously upon arrival. of the eight, seven ordered the Queens Feast, and I ordered straight from the menu. That was my mistake. fro the seven, there were two that are ordered the duck ( done to perfection) three that ordered the filet mignon, and one the pasta. winde for many and mixed drinks for a few. I had no alcohol. their dinners were perfect, as noted on the limited feast menu and done to their order. I ordered the half pount Filet Mignon with mushrrom sauce served with parmesan potatos and seasonal vegetables. I asked if i could sub straight brocolli for the vegetables and was told there would be an upcharge, which i agreed to without hesitation. when my entree (menu item) was brought , i received a half inch sirloin cooked well instead of medium as ordereded in place of a medium filet mignon. I know my meat cuts, and i am also looking at three other inch thick medium filet mignons on the table. the brocolli was barely steamed with absulutely no seaoning at all. There was no mushroom sauce or any kind of sauce on the steak, plate, etc. everyone was so pleased with their food from the discounted queens feast, that i did not complain to the manager as i normally would at this gross oversight. the waiter knew clearly this was not what ordered but hoped that i woulod not as well. needless the say, the meat was cut this morning and gave to my dog. I would not being going back to a restaraunt that cannot serve the higher cost items from their standard menue well. our bill was 102.99, for a $30 dollar sirloin and one queens feast, with a mixed drink and a glass of wine. best advice- don't bother unless someone else is paying and you are hungry. I wished to gauge the overall experience for a place to take future clients, this will not be a place to go!
