Total package - minus the landfill waste
I'd heard of an organic sandwich shop down in Charlotte. Living in the Lake Norman area this was quite a hike so paired with activities for my son I thought we'd check it out and make a day of the experience.
The atmosphere - bright colors and exciting new products were a huge hit for us. The food was fresh and tasty. My son is hard to please but loves the sweets - rice pudding ranked as his favorite. The organic coffee was great and the compostable cups were a bonus. Our total bill was higher than some other chain sandwich shops but probably no more so than a Starbucks.
I felt great about what I was eating and felt confident that my son was eating healthy. I love the concept just wish it was a little closer to home.
