Terrace Cafe

Went their for lunch two days ago. Started with a salmon chowder which was delicious. Then had the chicken salad croissant, also delicious. Opted for the cole slaw, which was vinegar-based and resem side, which resembled sauerkraut, but was excellent. My dining companion had a BLT which had maybe half a piece of bacon on it. Service was friendly but very spotty. Dishes seemed to come out at random. We never saw our server after the dishes came out until we flagged her down. The manager apologized about the BLT and took it off since it was too late to get another by the time we got their attention. The kitchen knows how to make good food, but they need to fix the timing problems.

I've had the pleasure to have lunch and breakfast there. Lunch was exceptional. I had the buffalo sandwich with fries which were excellent. I had the plain waffle with fresh fruit. The only downside is that it wasn't fresh when I received it. The attendant was not very attentive. Overall it is a nice cozy spot which over time will improve in terms of everything.
