Thanks to Charlotte Restaurant Week we were finally able to try The Capital Grill. Normally this place would be way out of our budget. For $30 we would be able to get a meal that would run about $90 any other time. My wife order the filet and it was very good. But nothing above what you would expect at an upscale steak house. I had the Kona Crusted Sirloin and it was off the hook. Maybe the best steak I have every had. Very tender with flavors I can't begin to describe. The desert was a Chocolate Espresso Cake that was wonderful. The service was first class. Everyone on their staff made it a point to introduce themselves and get and remember our names. I felt that the 20% tip may have been a little low for the quality of service we received. A very enjoyable experience. Can't wait for the next restaurant week.
