Worst Indian Food!!!!!!!!!
Nice decor and fancy dishes.
To start with, staff is not at all friendly. Waiter was too eager to get the menu back and rushed us to place an order. Food was served cold and without any serving spoon. Only refilled the drinks when called and asked for.
All this would have been tolerable, if I would have gotten an authentic Indian food to eat. I am Indian and know the taste of food, all the curries and vegetables are cooked in same type of gravy and without putting much of efforts or thoughts. It’s like going to Starbucks and getting served commercial coffee.
Definitely would NOT recommend to anybody…..stay away….there are plenty of other good Indian restaurants in town.
Saffron caters to both lovers of the new and traditionalists - not a surprise, since its owner made her reputation as a caterer of elaborate Indian wedding feasts, surely a bastion of both new lovers and those committed to old standards.
