BlackFinn Restaurant and Saloon

I visited during Charlotte's Restaurant Week with a party of 4. Three of us were excited to visit the restaurant, however it took 5-10 mins for the waiter to greet us and we a bit mislead about the appetizer option (told only one per couple although none of the advertising stated this). Our calamari was very chewy and the waiter never followed back up after I asked for a wine menu so I'm not sure what the specials were for the evening despite the table tent. One person's soup never came out and we had to track the waiter down to let him know. The texture of the broccoli cheddar soup was very off-putting. Three of us ordered the steak medium well and all 3 came out medium. I was fine with that but the other 2 were not. However they didn't send it back based on the amount of time we were waiting between each course. The steak was not seasoned at all. I don't use steak sauce so I don't mask the favor of the meat, but it was very disappointing. We waited more than 15 mins for the dessert, however this was the best part of the meal (apple pie and chocolate cake). Dinner took approx. an hour and a half. I would only visit again maybe after work during a nightly special to try other appetizers and desserts, probably not for dinner.
