I've called the Charlotte VA several times to schedule appoints. I always get a recording and no one has ever called me back (ie: left 4 messages at the eye clinic). Incompetence seem to define the VA. No wonder they're in the news recently, taking over 200 days to evaluate vets for disability. They need to clean house, get ride many freeloaders. It's so hard to fire someone in the VA, which needs to change!

Your rating: Your rating: Loved it If There was an X Factor Championship for Doctors DR Wolner would even make Simon Smile. .There aren't a lot of reviews about the new va clinic in Charlotte -the main reason is usually when something is working well whiners have nothing to whine about. As I walked into this facility I sensed a certain comfortability and could hear questions being asked in a pleasant tone and veterans talking as if they were in a coffee shop. The next thing I noticed were the ambiant smells that emitted a cleanliness yet not sterile feel and said to me right off-hey it's new and the vibes are refreshing. I noticed the rest rooms were well kept oh and before I forget the parking lot was spacious and even had an over sized covered drive up and drop off. I was assigned to Blue Ridge group and my DR was DR Wolner. We had never met and I was somewhat anxious. I later found out she is the medical director. We instantly shook hands and she did a thorough medical report and examination. This Dr has such a relaxed personality I felt like I actually made a friend yet I could tell that her level of medical professional intensity was at its best at all times-just like a professional performer would be on stage. Very Unassuming and humble but you can tell that she cares and wants each patient to get the best care. I call ths kind of person A Winner. She conversed on my level and never ever did she pretend to know more than me however this is the Director-so what do we have here? A DR that walks among us as one of us wearing swedish walking shoes, a bright red watch, glasses that make her look pre-med yet when she talks she looks you in the eyes and if you look back you can see something in hers-the one thing that veterans cheriish more than anything-Thanks!!! No Dr Wolner-THANK YOU
