Movie theaters showing Fast & Furious near Charlotte,NC:
Apr 05, 2009 - naysayer76 on Fast & Furious
Dude go cry to your mommy with all that. The movie was str8. You sould like the driver of a SUV that stays on the cell while driving 5-10 under the speed limit that in turn impeed traffic!!! Go back to your mommy!
This movie delivered everything I hoped it would and more. I read the media reviews and was not surprised by what I saw. If you are going to this movie to see Oscar-worthy performances, screenplays, or scores.....move along. But if you are wanting to see action, sexy stars, hip music and even cameos of Reggaeton artist Don Omar....this is the movie for you. I LOVED it. It had everything you want in a "Summer-like" blockbuster. Glad to see it won BIG this weekend.
99 out of 100 times if the "Critic" hates the movie it turns out to be ok. Vise-versa also
if they love it , it really sucks. I go to a movie to be entertained,to forget about problems,
whatever. NOT to have my conscience raised,
or to be politically correct. I go for escape.
cheesy, lame, boring, unreal, fake, stupid, retarded, crap, ego driven, old people with kiddie cars, why do these actors bother, only 10 yo might like it, was free for me to see with the kids. you can tell how stupid a director is by watching his movie.
While I am perfectly capably of differentiating between what is real and what is clearly a work of fantasy, there are some freak - a - dos out there that really believe this is a great lifestyle and that street racing is "cool". This film undoubtedly glorifies this underground alternative lifestyle. And in light of the events of this past weekend where a mother and her child were violently killed because there are people in our own community that can't delineate the reality of life from a film (where the roads are cleared for these people to do this on)...Where are we going? Why are we glorifying something that has killed hundreds across our country? I don't blame the film industry...the only make what people go out and see....
You can surely tell the who the morons are in this area. Anyone that would pay good money to see this crap is obviously brain dead.
Ms Lemire, upset because no chick flick opened this weekend downplayed the F&F movie empire, which will have the highest grossing opening weekend in April of all time. Of course its not a lame Lifetime movie or an arthouse folly. Me Lemire can only hope to make as much this year as the movie will make in one theater this weekend.
I sometimes wonder what movie the critics have watched...usually when "they" say is a bad movie, i really enjoy. Yes, there was car noise, wrecks, stunts, tricks...and that's what fans of Fast and the Furious want to see. No, it's not going to be nominated for best film..but it was great action and fun. Calm down critics...it was worth the $5 i spent on it. :)

Noise, noise, noise. Crunched metal and shattered glass. More noise. Revving engines. Vin Diesel's giant head. Hot chicks in tight miniskirts. Even more noise. The end. (Full review)
