I saw this movie today. It was definitely not any kind of 4 star movie. When I read reviews such as this, I wonder if the reviewer even saw the movie.
The movie dragged an anchor around for the first hour or so, while setting up the end. I thought of walking out a time or two, but I am glad I stayed. The ending was funny, though not any kind of laugh festival, or anything.
The humor is very subtle. If you enjoyed Burn After Reading, you'd probably like this one. I suppose this brand of humor isn't for everyone. I also suppose that if you watched it a few times, you may see some things you missed. I figure that's what I will do, when it comes out on dvd. I'd recommend just waiting till then, to see it.
