While still in his teens, Donny fathered a son, Todd, and raised him as a single parent up until Todd's 18th birthday. Now, after not seeing each other for years, Todd's world comes crashing down on the eve of his wedding when an uninvited Donny suddenly shows up. "That's My Boy" is a sick funny movie in the style of The Hangover. I am not a huge Adam Sandler fan - in fact I don't think i have loved any of his movies since "The Waterboy" - which is great. Well I loved "That's My Boy" because it made me laugh so hard I was crying. All I will say is don't go see this with you mother or for a first date - this movie is a guys night out starter that is crazy funny. If you liked 'The Hangover' and 'The Waterboy' - this is for you.
BTW - I am tired of the terrible reviews by the observer staff. There is no way possible this movie is a "half star" out of four - that low of a rating is cruder joke than anyting in the movie! For crude/dumb humor movies this is 3.5 stars out of 4. Observer - rate a movie for the type of movie it is! If you hate adult humor then have somebody else on the staff review it.

Lowbrow comedy goes subterranean in “That’s My Boy,” a product of the Adam Sandler movie factory unpolluted by a trace of ambition or wit.
