ParaNorman
In ParaNorman, a small town comes under siege by zombies. Who can it call? Only misunderstood local boy Norman, who is able to speak with the dead. In addition to the zombies, he'll have to take on ghosts, witches and, worst of all, moronic grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse. But this young ghoul whisperer may find his paranormal activities pushed to their otherworldly limits.

You are waiting for something more energetic to happen. You are waiting for more entertainment. You are waiting for something to bring you to the edge of your seat. Maybe there will be something that will evoke a laugh, a chuckle, a tear, a panic, a gasp...but to no avail.
"Paranorman does it's best to develop the main characters, but in the process loses the audience with its hum-drum pace. There is no suspense to keep you guessing. There is no enticing subplots or twists to get you wanting more. In fact, I could have easily fallen asleep over this movie. I have not been this bored with a movie since I viewed Wall-e, which had me riveted with the dialogue of "Eva" and "Wall-e."
This is a renter, people.

A uniquely funny, touching and scary story about a boy who sees dead people - including a witch who wants to destroy his home town.
