Won't Back Down
Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis play two determined mothers, one a teacher, who will stop at nothing to transform their children's failing inner city school. Facing a powerful and entrenched bureaucracy, they risk everything to make a difference in the education and future of their children. This powerful story of parenthood, friendship and courage mirrors events that are making headlines daily.

If you are a teacher or a Democrat Politician, you won't like this movie because it is trying to show the parenting public how the school system is corrupt. Teachers and Democrat Politicians are for keeping control of the current school system. For teachers the current system gives them a job that is un-fireable and not tied to their classroom performance. For Democrat Politicians, the current system gives them a huge voting base for which they rally for at all cost. This movie is against both of these groups.

The focus of the save-our-school drama "Won't Back Down" practically assures it will fail to join the ranks of great, or even good, education tales.
