“Healing Footstep to Footstep” Book Launch and Yoga Practice with Brianna Bedigian
In our daily life we are most often focused outward – paying attention to other’s needs, stressing about life’s many issues and feeling the need to sprint from task to task. Having a practice in times of stress is a powerful elixir. Taking time to slow down, turn inward and establish your center serves as a soothing balm to the overtaxed mind and heart. Everyone is worthy and deserving of their own time. Remember dear heart: “You cannot pour from an empty cup.” In this workshop Brianna will interweave several healing arts together, crafting a multisensory experience with the intent of helping you to: slow down, breathe deep, engage in the present moment and foster your connection to Self. By strengthening this sacred bond you will impact how you show up in the world and how you choose to live your life. Please join Brianna for this ninety-minute healing ritual and step forward on your personal path to wellness. Special Gift: You will receive a copy of Healing Footstep to Footstep. Healing Footstep to Footstep is for anyone suffering with an illness – emotional, spiritual or physical. The willingness and intention to heal despite exhaustion and pain are often absent in stories of healing journeys. The reality is that healing begins one step at a time, often slowly and with acceptance of the self. Through storytelling, recipes, yoga lessons and meditation exercises, Brianna Bedigian takes us on a journey of Self, where all healing begins. So take a moment, quiet yourself, breathe deep, turn the pages of this beautiful book and enter the world of the Old Woman and the Girl where all healing is possible. Practice 7:00pm to 8:30pm: Book Signing + Tea + COOKIES (GF too) 8:30pm to 9:00pm Please join Brianna after her workshop for refreshments – where she can sign your book and you can connect with your fellow Be Yogis. About Brianna: Brianna Bedigian is an author, artist, teacher and healer who utilizes her personal journey, combined with years of formal training and personal practice, to guide students locally and nationally. Art Show
Swarm, works by Adrian Rhodes
In her work, Adrian Rhodes reflects on the collective sense of nostalgia and the yearning associated with generational memory. Printmaking is at the core of her process, allowing for the swift installation of recurring imagery and personal iconography into the work. Sky maps of constellations, navigational charts and the matriarchal structure of bee colonies reference connections between mothers and daughters. DNA structures and printmaking processes examine issues of inheritance.
