"Perfect Pairings" Wine Dinner at Mimosa Grill
Celebrate your love for food and wine at Mimosa Grill’s next special event, “Perfect Pairings.” For the past several years, a team of Burke Hospitality Group’s management and staff have been avid students of Eric Asimov’s “Wine School” column in The New York Times. After 46 different wine and food tastings and several “Aha!” moments, the group is thrilled to present some of its very best findings in a special five-course dinner of “Perfect Pairings.” Mimosa’s Executive Chef Thomas Marlow, Corporate Chef Scott Wallen and Harper’s/Charlotte Chef Sean Anderson will oversee the dishes and present guests with “pairing bliss.” In addition, we are delighted that Eric Asimov, wine critic for The New York Times, has agreed to be in attendance to meet our guests and offer his insight into each of the wine selections. 'A Sign Of The Times' 2018 Diggin' Black History thru Music, Dance and Spoken Word is a historical exploration into the contributions and struggles of Africans and African Americans as presented through spoken word, music and dance. The program is presented over (6) consecutive Tuesdays evenings from 7 PM - 8:30 PM at the Little Rock A.M.E. Zion Cultural Center. The program started on Tuesday, January 23rd and will continue every Tuesday throughout January and February with the last presentation on Thursday, March 8th. The program is FREE! (funded in part by the Arts and Science Council)

12th Annual Billy O. Wireman Memorial Golf Tournament
Billy O. Wireman was the president of Queens from 1978 to 2002, and lived the Queens mission of developing students for noble lives, productive careers and global citizenship. The McColl School is proud to once again honor Dr. Wireman’s legacy by raising scholarship money for the McColl School Excellence Fund, supporting merit- and need based scholarships, programmatic offerings and faculty development. All scholarship dollars go directly to the McColl Scholl Excellence Fund and are tax deductible. Whether through sponsorship or participation, the McColl School would like to thank you in advance for helping to provide deserving students with the opportunity of a lifetime - a transformational experience that is relevant, respected and rewarding.
