Mime and Pantomime (ages 9-14)

Let your child be an actor, sculptor, painter, dancer or jewelry-maker for a week at the Arts Council’s 2012 Summer Art Camps!
The camps will run June through July and will feature one-week workshops of various topics for ages six and above. The camps will be located at the Center for the Arts (121 E. Main Street, Rock Hill) and the Community Performance Center (249 E. Main Street, Rock Hill).

Price for all camps:
$75/camp for Arts Council members
$85/camp for non-members

Students will take a journey through the world of mime, pantomime, rhythm, movement and improvisation. Stories and sensory exercises are used to increase awareness, strengthen concentration and inspire creative spontaneity and imagination. The course will conclude with a performance for parents.
