A Journey in Images: An Instagram-Inspired Collection Photo Exhibit

A Journey in Images: An Instagram-Inspired Collection Photo Exhibit

Art Show, Photography
Mooresville photographer, Bart Mauceri Jr,'s A Journey in Images photography exhibit featuring his works is returning this summer to the Special Collections Room of the Mooresville Public Library. Mauceri's exhibit will run during the summer from May 18th until August 24th. This year's A Journey in Images exhibit, is simply titled, “An Instagram-Inspired Collection”, focusing on Mauceri's photographic collection on his own Instagram page (A link to Mauceri's Instagram page is listed below). The idea for an Instagram-themed exhibit was inspired after one of his creative friends who interviewed Mauceri on her podcast talk show and the subject of using Instagram to showcase and promote his work came up. She encouraged him to set up an account. Mauceri signed up and started filling up the A Journey in Images Instagram page with his best and new photos. On Saturday, May 19th, from 11am- 12:30pm, there will be an opening reception in the Selma Burke Room, also located in the Library. It is free and open to the public. For more information about the exhibit, or interested in purchasing the exhibited pieces please contact Bart Mauceri Jr. at (704)-660-3439 or Mooresville Public Library's Special Collection Room at (704) 664-2927.
